You're Safe With Us
In general, Australian Custom Designed Timber does not store any credit card information on our servers. We do not have online payment gateway services, general payments are done via direct-debit or bank transfer and you are always asked to provide remittance statements when transferring money.
A credit card payment option is available through our EFTPOS system (1.5% transaction fee for all orders under $1,000.00) via phone by calling 08 8185 7067. We welcome Visa cards and Mastercards. We DO NOT accept Amex / American Express cards or any other credit cards.
When you make payments via direct-debit or bank transfer we require the customer's name, e-mail, phone number, billing address and delivery address (if it is different from your billing address). This allows us to process and fulfill your order successfully. It also helps us in ensuring that we are liaising with a genuine client, and safeguards your order.
When you place orders, we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the sensitive customer data we collect is protected by several layers of encryption and several layers of security to prevent unauthorised access.
SSL Encryption software to ensure your personal details are kept safe. None of your payment details are stored - this ensures you will be happy with the security of your transaction.
What is HTTPS AND SSL?
SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, which is an internet protocol designed to provide communication security via two main methods:
HTTPS means “Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure”. Technically, it is not a protocol in and of itself; rather, it is the result of simply layering the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) on top of the SSL/TLS protocol, thus adding the security capabilities of SSL/TLS to standard HTTP communications. The main motivation for HTTPS is to prevent wiretapping and man-in-the-middle attacks.
