Please kindly note that wood or timber is a natural product and as such displays natural variations in grain, colour and structure, which reflects the varied life-cycle of each individual tree. Various natural conditions create prominent and unique characteristics such as dark sap lines and grain whorls (or knots) but these characteristics are not faults in the products, they are signs of character in the timber and are sole proofs that your custom piece is unique.
Your furniture is crafted using carefully selected materials and modern factory equipment. It has been designed and manufactured with everyday usage in mind but does require some care in both usage and maintenance.
Please allow for material tolerances where applicable. Where a quoted size is provided there is an advised tolerance that the customer must be aware of where the goods created will be within "millimeter" measurements of difference (+3mm and -5mm) of the quoted size.
The table tops are made from natural solid timbers which is subject to 'flexing'. 'Flexing' is where the material expands and contracts both horizontally and vertically when temperatures and humidity rise and fall. If you see that your timber items has started to 'flex', it is perfectly normal and will return back to its original state once the temperature of its surroundings changes.
It is important to remember that matching exact colours to existing furniture not created by Australian Custom Designed Timber may not be possible.
